I started out as a painter. Actually, if you want to get real specific I started out with graphite as an illustrator. Then I started working with acrylic. Then mixed media. Then as a fluke (required credit) I took a photography class in HS. I loved it. Went to RIT to learn as much as I could. Worked as a professional photographer after graduation. Freelanced. Moved into other areas of design and user experience.
I shoot mostly digital with my Canon kit. I also shoot Polaroid, and am in the process of scanning over 1,000 35mm negatives from a South West trip I took many years ago to be hosted on southwestproject.com. I have a flickr Pro account, FB.com photo page, multiple twitpic pages, but this site is home to my personal favorite images :: Andrew Doak
